<辨析>两者都可以解作“因为”。because 是从属连词，表示直接而明确的原因，它所引导的从句一般放在主句后面，需要强调时，也可以放在主句的前面。如：

for 是并列连词，不象 because 表示直接的原因，而是用来附带解释或说明前面一句的情况，有时它表示的理由是推测性的，它所引导的分句只可放在另一分句之后。如：
The day breaks for the birds are singing.天亮了，因为鸟在叫。（表示推测）
上句不能换用 because，因为天亮与鸟叫之间不存在必然的因果关系。试比较：
