• news可数吗？news的用法
  
  1. 表示“消息”“报道”，是不可数名词。如：
  现在报道几条有趣的新闻。
  误：Here are some interesting news.
  正：Here is some interesting news.
  正：Here are some interesting pieces [items] of news.
  2. 表示“有关……的消息或报道等”，通常后接介词 of, about。如：
  What’s the latest news about the election? 选举的最新消息是什么?
  I was happy at the news of his return. 听到他归来的消息我很高兴。

news/information

I have some good news for you.我有好消息告诉你。
During the night the computer works ont eh information from all the sales that day.夜间，计算机处理当天售货的全部信息。
<辨要>news 意为“新闻”，“消息”，指事件发生后不久的消息，特别是指报纸、广播、电视中发布的消息，不一定是大新闻，但突出在“新”上，如：
They were listening to the news over the radio.他们在收听新闻广播。
information 意为“消息”，“情报”，“信息”，“知识”等，指通过观察、学习、阅读或交谈得到的资料、知识等，突出在“内容”上，而不强调其“新”。如：
So far I have no information about it.到目前为止，我还没有得到这方面的消息。
Another computer programme had information about different illnesses.计算机另一种程序贮存有各种不同疾病的信息。
注意：news 和 information 都是不可数名词，前面不可用 a(n) 或 one，也不用 many 修饰，在句中作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
试译：我得到了许多消息。
误：I have got many informations.
正：I have got much informations.
这个消息不是真。
误：The news are not true.
正：The news is not true.
我将告诉你一个好消息。
误：I'll tell you a good news.
正：I'll tell you a piece of good news.
