I dare say是习语（也可拼成I daresay），主要用以下两个用法：
1. 表示“我想”，与I suppose同义。如：
You are tired, I dare say. 我看你也许是累了。
I daresay you’re ready for a drink. 我想你也许想喝点什么。
I dare say your sympathy is with him. 我猜想你是同情他的。)
2. 表示“我同意你说的，但这无关紧要”，即I accept what you say, but it doesn’t make any difference。如：
